Prayer - Psalm (Tehillim) 91
Abba, I who dwell in the shelter of Elyon, will abide in the shadow of Shaddai. I will say of Adonai, “You are MY refuge & MY fortress, MY GD in Whom I trust. For You will rescue me from the hunter’s trap and from the deadly pestilence. You will cover me with Your feathers, and under Your wings I will find refuge. Your faithfulness is body armor and shield. I will not fear the terror by night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the plague that stalks in the darkness, nor the scourge that lays waste at noon. A thousand may fall at my side, and ten thousand at my right hand, but it will not come near me. I will only look on with my eyes and see the wicked paid back. For I have made Elyon my dwelling, Adonai, my refuge, so no evil will befall me nor any plague come near my tent. For He will give His angels charge over me, to guard me in all my ways. Upon their hands they will lift me up, lest I strike my foot against a stone. I will tread upon the lion and cobra, trample the young lion and serpent. Because I have devoted my love to Him, He will deliver me. He will set me securely on high, because I know His Name. When I call on Him, He will answer me. He will be with me in trouble, rescue me, and honor me. With long life will He satisfy me and show me HIS Salvation. Amen
